My dear friend Hanssie and her lovely family enlisted the amazing Kristin Rogers to photograph their Christmas pictures this year! I was on the glamming end!! I've worked with Hanssie for a couple years now and we have become friends!! I always have such a great talking shopping and girl talk with her! She gave me free reign for this shoot and I ran with it! Hanssie loves makeup and hair so I wanted to give her something that was smokey and gorgeous without being to overdone for makeup and soft and pretty for hair. With families it is tough because you are doing a lot more candid poses and so I thought that having Hanssie's hair back would be ideal! Merry Christmas from the Trainor family!

I first met Jen when she was a bridesmaid for her friend Ashely! We hit it off right away while I beautified the girls at Ashley's wedding. I had such a great time working with Nellie and her bridal party on her wedding day at the Sunset Cliffs, San Diego!!! I had the enormous pleasure of doing the girls hair for the big day!!! Nellie is so wonderful and booked me last year! A woman who plans ahead! Loved it!!! We started with her engagement session with the fabulous Hanssie Trainor. We worked up a super sexy mix of smokey eyes and soft swept up hair. Nick and Nellie are both professors and so they themed their shoot with books and scholastics! It was so cute!! For the wedding day Nellie wanted something structured but with some texture. We put together this beautiful asymmetrical updo that looked so beautiful on her face shape! Nellie has such fantastic hair and I was really happy with the way her look came together! She looked like a dream! Nellie is also a writer for the Wedding Bee blog and we laughed the morning of about her blogging as I worked on her hair! She is fabulous! Happy 4th of July!!!! Lauren envisioned a fabulous roof top celebration on her big day! 4th of July was the perfect day!!! I had the pleasure of working with the incredible Bella girls of Bella Weddings, whom I adore and have dolled up in the past! The event went off without a hitch! Lauren wanted to look glam!!! I personally love a vintage look and I got to play with this concept with Lauren's gorgeous hair! For makeup we went timeless and classic. The first time I met Lauren was at her preview with was also a preview for her girlfriend and bridesmaid Monica. I had the pleasure of dolling up Virgina for her big day! Condor's Nest is a super fabulous ranch venue! A real ranch! Every time I visit this venue I'm welcome by the four ENORMOUS dogs, horses and goats!! It's awesome!!! The whole home is opened to the happy couple and their families! It's homey and casual and fantastic! Virgina envisioned feminine and soft hair with super subtle makeup. I thought she looked so fresh and clean! She was stunning!!! OMG!!!! I am in love with this wedding and even more in love with Jen the bride!!! I had the pleasure of meeting Jen last year when I prettied up her friend Ashley for her big day! So I was super excited when Jen asked me to doll her up for her big day! Jen is so chic and has a settle elegance about her! I feel like I can definately call her my friend now and I am so proud to say so! Her wedding was just as fabulous as she is! She enlisted the amazing Brandon Kidd photography to capture it all at a private residence overlooking a gorgeous view of the canyon! My fabulous friend and woman behind Be Inspired PR,Leila Khalil and the awesome wedding planner Mary Dann, just published their first book Wedding Wisdom! In celebration of the book release they gathered all the contributors of the book together for a little dinner party! And when I say little dinner party I lie!!! It was a FABULOUS dinner party complete with private chefs from Big City Chefs and stars of the new Food Network show Private Chefs of Beverly Hills. So long story short, their fabulous little party was featured on the show!!!!!!!! Leila and Mary needed dolling up and they picked me!!!!!! I was sooo excited!!!! It was an awesome day and I was so proud to see the women look fabulous as they strutted their stuff on the show that aired this past week!!!!

Soooo excited about this shoot with Stephanie Tracy for the fabulous Alice and her sooo cute hubby Tim!!! I adore Alice and was super pumped to get to doll her up for her anniversary shoot!!! Alice is an amazing photographer herself and has shot myself and my family a couple times!!! She is so beautifully simple usually so I wanted to pump her up a little and give her a little more sexy!!!!! We decided on unkept and romantic hair with a smoky eye! I love it!!!!!

First and foremost, how much do you love the title Encore Session for a photoshoot after the wedding??!!! My amazing photog friend Alice Hu dreamed up this title! LOVE!!! Suzanne and Bob tie the knot!!

Nothing describes sweet and gentle better than Suzanne! She is the most beautiful woman inside and out and her new hubby Bob is just as wonderful! I adored getting to know them and becoming part of their "dream team"! They started their day at the incredible Terranea Resort and then made their way to their ceremony at Wayfarer's Chapel and finally reception at the beautiful Trump Golf Course! Phew!!! What an amazing itinerary!!!!! It was the most gorgeous day for a gorgeous couple! Here are some of my faves from Hanssie Trainor, Matt Saville and Kristen Vaughan.

I am so lucky to be a part of such a cool group! So Cal shootout is a group of photogs that get together and dream up amazing concepts and shoot! The models always rock and I've been so pumped to be the lead artist on a handful of these shoots! This shoot concept was "Trash the Dress". For those who don't know what this is, it's a super fab way to showcase your gown after the big day! You don't always need to "trash" your dress but at this shoot we trashed em!!!!!! It was so fun! I always get so excited for these shootouts and I was really pumped to be asked to be a part of the first ever San Diego shootout!!! The super cool Stephan Knuth of Stephan Knuth Photography called me up and asked if I could pretty his 6 models!! OF COURSE!! Love these events!!!! The theme was carnival and date night! The photographers always run with the awesome themes and man did San Diego deliver!!!! This post is a little long, I know!!! I secretly always wanted photographer and looooovvveeee pictures!!!! Love Story

We all know love is a tricky game! I was approached with this "love story" concept which depicted a relationship from beginning to end or from all angles. First we start with giddy love that is new and fresh and exciting. Then something happens and "he's just not that into you". Once our poor girl has his games figured out she moves on and he comes crawling back. They decide in the end that they are better just as friends and go their separate ways.
