Kristin and Dustin's big day!

My lovely friend and amazing photography Kristin of Kristin Joy photography tied the knot this summer with her love Dustin! They are such a gorgeous couple and sooo in love! I love when I get to spend the day with people in love! These two are destined to be together and definately treat eachother that way! I had the extreme pleasure of being a part of their big day! Kristin gave me free reign with her hair and makeup so I played! She was such a lovely bride! Amanda Auer from In the Now styled the reception and Bethany Murphy captured every moment!

A little sexy sexy with Mrs. R

I always love doing hair and makeup for boudoir shoots! It's a little out of the box from my weddings and I usually get to play a bit which is fun!!! Here is one of my most recent boudoir shoots! The sexy Mrs. R we will call her! A birthday gift for her hubby! Shot by the incredible Wai Reyes!

This past July, I had the honor of helping out my dear friend and amazing artist Nicole Deanne with hair and makeup for one of her brides. Nicole had just given birth to her gorgeous daughter and needed some help with her enormous wedding load! I always feel lucky when she asks me to help! I had the pleasure of working with Teresa a couple times once for her engagement shoot and secondly for the big day! She is the sweetest! The nuptials were held at the gorgeous Anthenaeum in Pasedena and the event was shot by the one and only incredible Amelia Lyon! The bride designed her bridesmaids gowns and floated in a Reem Acra gown!

Behind the scenes with the lovely Vikki and Plum Pretty Sugar!

This past weekend, I had the most fun ever beautifying the gorgeous Vikki from All You Need Is Love event planning. Vikki and Brian are just one of those special couples that you always remember and are inspired by! They are so unique yet are so perfect for eachother! Vikki was the most beautiful bride and I had the time of my life with her and her wedding party! We are talking pee in your pants from laughter good time!!!! All of Vikki's wedding party was her closest friends from high school! We had the lovely ladies and then of course the lovely bridesmen! Yes bridesmen! I have never laughed so hard! It was intimate, chic and totally fun! Vikki had given the girls robes from Plum Pretty Sugar which before then I hadn't heard of! I am now obsessed with these gowns and want one in every color! Utterly Engaged Issue #10 Haute Glue Couture!

This post is way over due but so worth the wait! I had the great opportunity of working with Utterly Engaged on their Haute Glue Couture issue! I was so excited!!! We had an amazing group of vendors!!! We are talking Jay's Catering, Jessi Haack, Hanssie Trainor, Bows and Berries, French Buckets, and our amazing models from Paper and Thread and Broke Ass Bride! Nick and Nellie, Sunset Cliffs, San Diego

I had such a great time working with Nellie and her bridal party on her wedding day at the Sunset Cliffs, San Diego!!! I had the enormous pleasure of doing the girls hair for the big day!!! Nellie is so wonderful and booked me last year! A woman who plans ahead! Loved it!!! We started with her engagement session with the fabulous Hanssie Trainor. We worked up a super sexy mix of smokey eyes and soft swept up hair. Nick and Nellie are both professors and so they themed their shoot with books and scholastics! It was so cute!! For the wedding day Nellie wanted something structured but with some texture. We put together this beautiful asymmetrical updo that looked so beautiful on her face shape! Nellie has such fantastic hair and I was really happy with the way her look came together! She looked like a dream! Nellie is also a writer for the Wedding Bee blog and we laughed the morning of about her blogging as I worked on her hair! She is fabulous!
