Erin and Ben-Private Estate San Juan Capistrano

  I never stopped laughing the first time I met Erin and we kept it up on the wedding day!  She has an unnatural obsessesion with popcorn and is just absolutely hilarious!  I mean comedian hilarious!  My tummy hurt from laughing so hard!  I adore every bit of her!  We had so much fun creating her warm, glowy look for the big day!  She has the most incredible ginger red hair which I'm psycho for!!!  Erin's grandpa has an amazing avocado ranch estate in San Juan Capistrano which created the most incredible and personal day for the love birds!  Check out some of the gorgeous photos captured by Erica of Acres of Hope Photography!

Eva is one of the sweetest brides ever.  She is soft spoken but knows exactly what she likes.  She wanted something soft and dewy but still glamourous for the big day.  She has the most incredible blue eyes so I used plums to bring them to life.  I had such a fun time dolling up her girls and the beautiful bride on her big day!

The busy girl's makeup routine!!!

We all have those days were the minimum effort is just what it's gonna be!  I find myself in this category often....okay everyday!  I take minimal makeup to a whole other level!!  On an everyday basis when not working and meeting with clients I keep my look to a minimum.  I have two little ones under 5 years old and sometimes a mama needs a quick spruce up without much effort. I need a no fuss no touchup makeup routine and here it is!!!

Step 1: Laura Mercier Illuminating Tinted Moisturized applied with fingers

Step 2:  Laura Mercier Secret Concealer applied with fingers

Step 3: MAC bronzer dusted on cheekbones, temples and neck

Step 4: NARS Orgasm blush dusted on cheeks

Step 5: Maybelline Mascara on top lashes

Step 6: SPF chapstick or lip stain 

This look is great for busy mamas, busy worker bees or the minimal makeup girl!  

Keeps it simple and makes you look polished and put together!!

Wendy and Victor-La Venta Inn

Wendy and Victor tied the knot at the venue my parent's got married at 30 years ago!  I was thrilled to get to see it in person and be a part of their big day!!!  La Venta Inn is where the gorgeousness started!!  We prepped Wendy and her girls at the lovely Terranea Resort.  She is absolutely stunning and made my job easy!!!  We had a blast talking about makeup products and laughing!  It was a great morning full of love!

Jennifer is one of the most lovely people I think I've ever met!  She is giggles, fun and soft spoken.  She is classic and knows herself really well which make for a very easy beautifying session!  I had the pleasure of dolling her up for her amazing wedding day!  Was she not gorgeous!!!  All elegance! I am a huge fan of black and white photos and happened upon some of these from Justine Ungaro from the big day! 

Jennifer chose flawless airbrush foundation,  soft neutral browns on her eyes with a soft rosy cheek and raspberry lip. For her hair she wanted something loose and upswept.  She was lovely!

Chad and Sarah- San Diego

Sarah is the sweetest thing ever!  I had the honor of working with her on her engagement shoot in San Diego with DnA photography.  I was already booked for the big day but I can't wait to see what one of my resident stylists Tera creates for this stunner!  For her shoot we went super natural and soft.  She wanted her hair straight with a little braid action.  As far as makeup I kept it really light and minimal to show off her natural beauty!  Enjoy!!!

Joshua Tree loveliness!!!

Kristin was referred to us by a friend through a tweet!  I was so honored to have us as a part of her big day!  I was unfortunately already booked so I put one of my most talented artists Sabrina on beautifying the already stunning Kristin!  Kristin envisioned an uber natural look.  She wanted her hair loosely swept up and barely there makeup.  Her wedding was filled with rustic, gorgeous elements. It was simple, fun and full of love!  The dress for me was the show stopper!!! It looked incredible on her!!! Take a peak at the gorgeous day and bride!!
