I had the pleasure of working with Ashley and her wedding party this weekend. Ashley is a gem to work with!! She is so organized!! I loved every second of the prep. I did a little consulting with this wedding which was great!! I love when I am able to extend my wedding planning services. For Ashely, I did more coordinating for her reception. The reception was breathtaking! Check back soon for the pictures from their photographer Marlin Munoz photography.

I had the pleasure of working with Marlin and Marlene for Holly and Rocky's wedding earlier this year. More pictures to come!

Rachel's consult

Sunday, August 24, 2008

My girlfriend and sorority sis is getting married to her long time love Aaron in early November! So excited about this wedding! Rachel is fabulous and totally funky and chic all at one time! Her unique personal style is what makes this wedding so exciting. They've chosen a Day of the Dead theme and all the plans are sounding incredible. From the canary yellow bridesmaid shoes to the all black decor to the colorfully painted skulls in the centerpeices, the whole event is going to be amazing! I love seeing and being a part of such different and personal styles of weddings! The whole event is going to be as fabulous as I think Rachel and Aaron are. More to come in November. In the meantime, here is a sneak peak into her consult... we tried three different looks and decided on smoky eyes with a nude lip. So pumped!!!

Tyanne Consultation

I had the pleasure of meeting the sweetest bride ever this past weekend. Tyanne and her fiance Henry are both from Northern California and are planning a beautiful wedding at the Scott Linley mansion. More to come from their wedding in August.

Jaime's consultation

Sunday, June 8, 2008

I was referred to Jaime by one of my May brides Holly Weber. I was really excited to meet Jaime because of all the great things I heard about her from Holly's mom Vicky. Jaime and Vicky work together as teachers. Jaime tackles 3rd grade!! So you know she has her hands full most of the time. Jaime and her fiance Brett met through mutual friends and have been together for 8 years! Brett has designed and is assembling all their centerpieces and they are amazing!!!!! The whole wedding sounds like it's going to be fab! Can't wait! More to come in July!

Amanda's consultation

I love my job because I get to meet so many amazing girls that I would have never met otherwise!! This past weekend I met with Amanda for her November wedding. When asking her how she met her fiance Mike I was surprised to hear the Internet. I hear of people meeting people on the Internet but never I have met someone myself and so was so excited to hear more!! I found out that Amanda and her family moved to America about 5 years ago from Malaysia and she wanted to make some friends. She discovered myspace and started chatting with a nice guy named Mike. After about 6 months of chatting and learning about eachother Amanda jumped on a flight to Kentucky to meet Mike in person. Not long after they were engaged. They are tying the knot on a yacht in Newport Beach. I can't wait!

Rocky and Holly, Fullerton Arboretum

Tuesday, June 3, 2008

Yay for Holly and Rocky's wedding!!! I was super excited about this wedding! After Holly's preview I just couldn't wait for her big day! She is beyond the sweetest, cutest bride ever! I was greeted by her amazing mom, whom I am in love with also, and her maid of honor! We had the best time getting to know eachother and chatting about Holly. The flowers were being done at the house also and the whole placed smelt amazing! The bridesmaids and I discovered that Rocky's wedding gift for Holly was at the house and so of course all of us couldn't wait until she got there to see what it was. She burst in the house with the biggest smile on her face and her hair all done and perfect! She looked so happy to be getting married! After my big hug, all of us told her it was time for her to open the present because we couldn't wait any longer! As she read her poem that Rocky had written for her, she started to cry! Then we all were crying!!! I'm just the makeup artist!!! Why am I crying!!! I'm a sucker for that sort of thing! I had the best time and wish them all the happiness in the world! I hope their wedding full of flowers and bbq dinner was as fabulous as they were!! Here are some of the pics I could get my hands on right away. Marlin and Marlena from Marlin Munoz photography were the photogs and man are they good!! Check back for me in a bit!
