Even though I was already booked for Sarah's big day I had the pleasure of dolling her up a couple times before the big day including her engagement shoot!  I adore her!  She is so sweet and so full of life!  She adores Chad and he seems crazy about her! Isn't her simple beauty just stunning?!

When Whitney described her super cool, posh and ultra- modern wedding to me I was in!!! The main event took place at the San Diego Museum of Contemporary Art! Amazing!!! The venue was as cool and smart as the couple! Whitney wanted something swept out of her face for hair and a dark smokey eye for drama! She had amazing accessories and I was over the top excited to see it all come together! From her robe necklace to flower headband from Etsy I just swooned! Utterly Engaged Issue #10 Haute Glue Couture!

This post is way over due but so worth the wait! I had the great opportunity of working with Utterly Engaged on their Haute Glue Couture issue! I was so excited!!! We had an amazing group of vendors!!! We are talking Jay's Catering, Jessi Haack, Hanssie Trainor, Bows and Berries, French Buckets, and our amazing models from Paper and Thread and Broke Ass Bride! Nick and Nellie, Sunset Cliffs, San Diego

I had such a great time working with Nellie and her bridal party on her wedding day at the Sunset Cliffs, San Diego!!! I had the enormous pleasure of doing the girls hair for the big day!!! Nellie is so wonderful and booked me last year! A woman who plans ahead! Loved it!!! We started with her engagement session with the fabulous Hanssie Trainor. We worked up a super sexy mix of smokey eyes and soft swept up hair. Nick and Nellie are both professors and so they themed their shoot with books and scholastics! It was so cute!! For the wedding day Nellie wanted something structured but with some texture. We put together this beautiful asymmetrical updo that looked so beautiful on her face shape! Nellie has such fantastic hair and I was really happy with the way her look came together! She looked like a dream! Nellie is also a writer for the Wedding Bee blog and we laughed the morning of about her blogging as I worked on her hair! She is fabulous!
